I had a friend one time point out that things come in threes... the "tragic" mainly... Welp, here goes.

I found out the other day that a guy I knew in college, Ronnie Sain, passed away. He'd had breathing problems and was taken to the hospital, but didn't make it long. He's only a year younger than me.

This morning I got to read our campus Prayer Requests that were sent out yesterday afternoon (I was off work...)...

My suitemate, Susan (Tindall) Shelton, lost her mother the other day. Last time I talked to Susan... not long after her husband, Bart, and I had been diagnosed as diabetic... she told me her mom wasn't doing too hot.

And one of the dearest ladies I know, Donna Putnam, lost her mother. Mrs. Doris had cancer and had been doing poorly all this week.

But, I'm reminded that even in the midst of sadness, God always sends us comfort. My dear friend, Jason, stopped by rehearsals last night. And later on after rehearsal, another dear friend, Cliff, and I had a really good conversation... sort of deep and theological. And I adore Jeri, she always brightens my day... she sends me the funniest emails. Lana's not in yet, but she's always on the same wavelength with me about stuff, which is cool.

Anywhoo... y'all have a good day and say a prayer for my friend's families...

el Dios le bendice siempre...

A new blog to check out... this is a study series that we just started at church. There are posts daily on that days lesson. I forgot to do yesterdays and don't have my book right now, but I think it's the stuff from the book that's being posted?? I'll have to check... I'd like to encourage you to join us on the study. I think I've done something similar before and enjoyed it. There are links on the website to be able to look up verses and stuff.

Okay, so some of the past week has been frustrating to a few of us. We JUST finished blocking the first act the other night. We NEED to block the entire second act TONIGHT... AND attempt to work with Power Point for the show, but that's another story. We have next week and then a week of tech/dress rehearsals. There are some of us who've done several shows at the post-secondary level. We understand that you have to pay attention ALL DURING rehearsals... "new people" can't be expected to know this, but I think they may get it now?? See, you have to pay attention when someone else is being given blocking/directions because you may be doing the same thing... or maybe in "reverse" (mirrored?)... or it may just clue you in on what you're supposed to be doing/thinking. Not to say you can't ever talk or goof off a bit during rehearsal... goodness knows I've done my share... But at any rate, I think it's going to be a cool show once we get it all together!!

Now, if APO can get ads sold for the program and pledging ready to rock, life will be good!!

WEIRD!! So stinkin' weird it's scaring me!! Okay, so I've mention my friend Glenn who's having a stream of good fortune in "the biz", right?! Well, there's a guy in the cast with me who is freaking me out he's so much like Glenn!! He sounds just like him... has the same kind of personality... the same kind of humor... It's weird to "hear Glenn" but "see Michael". It's just like it's Glenn but the body's wrong or something?!

I had my first mask made last night!! It's for the cow... the hen's are going to be puppets... which'll be a first for me on both... no, I've worn a mask (Starmites). I think this'll be a cool show and very interesting.

"I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it!" No, I'm not talking about a Saved By the Bell marathon... Alpha Psi Omega pledging is coming up soon!! We just had our first meeting and now have a pledge class and dates for pledging!! WOOHOO!! I'm really excited about it this year. APO is doing SO much more now. More members helps lots!! It means more people to help and more great ideas!!
